Rocky Mountain Slides Company has been offering the questing slide player a viable, hand crafted slide alternative since 2002. We’re glade to spread the word about some new custom products being added to the RMSC Family. First is a new Signature Model from Brian Stoltz, www.brianstoltz.com . Currently out on tour with George Porter Jr. and Russell Batiste in P.B.S. From the Funky Meters to PBS this guy has always been about TONE, and we’re proud to be able to add Brian to our family of other Signature Models of the Legendary Big Bill Morganfield www.bigbillmorganfield.net and the Sonic Madman, Alex Gomez www.alexgomez.biz . Also new to the Custom Shop are some glaze options and a fresh take on one of our tone bar mainstays. We did so well with the “Beauty and the Beast” glaze option in our Custom Shop, that we decided to try a “Double Dip” glazed slide…what this does is offer more tonal possibilities on one slide than ever before. And introducing a new high fired glaze called Juju White; we’ve been getting a lot of great feedback on the tones with this glaze. Thanks to everyone and the feedback…this is what helps us to be better. Now a lot of players have asked for a modified Rail Rockit, and what we’ve done is to take the Rockit and make 30&45 degree cut to the ends, and then hand rolling the ends to produce a semi or Proto-Nose end. This will give you some of the possibilities of a bullet end and by doing this it lowers the bars hand profile, so that it is more comfortable in your hand while playing. There are also Mini Poncha Bullets now available for those that wanted a shorter version of that one as well. At this point we are offering over 300 possibilities in finger slides alone, and the number of slide players that have discovered the tonal possibilities that these slides offer is constantly growing…we love a big family!! Please feel free to check out how we can help you find the tones that are in your head and heart at www.rockymountainslides.com
