I've had the SC420 for a while now the best way to descirbe how it plays is that its a cross between a Les Paul and a Strat. It handles like a Les Paul but it feels like a Strat, with a thinner neck and the no heel joint. This makes sliding from the first fret to the 22nd fret a breeze. This Guitar is good for all types of musical tastes: Rock Metal Punk Jazz and Blues. It has a 5 way switch which makes its tonal options vary greatly. I play this guitar for punk and blues alot it has SUPERLOW action out of the box and it needs almost no intonation work at all. The paintjob scratches easy so be careful!

Reliability: 10
Sound: 9
Bang for the Buck: 7
Overall Rating: 9
