Question

Asked by Sara on 2002-08-04
Hi. I finally think I have enough free time to learn how to play the guitar. Most of the songs I want to learn are accoustic, but a friend of mine said it would be easier to learn to play an electric guitar first then move on to accoustic. Is he right?

Well, it really depends on what style you want to learn how to play like you said you want to play acoustic so i would say learn acoustic. But i wanted to learn ac/dc guns n roses ect. so i picked up an electric first and im pretty good by now. But if you want to learn acoustic then dont wast your time on an elecric. *GIRLS SUCK AT THE GUITAR* um......no.....im way better then all my guy friends....but whatever
