how many times do i strum in a song?i mean sometimes you strum twice sometimes three and some four.. i still don't get it... in your lesson..you didn't actually state that please advice...

when you strum up, it means you are playing half a beat, you do this so your right hand stays at an even pace da beat. if you played d u d you would have done 2 & a helf a beats. if you do d u u d you have done 3 full crochet beats. if you do not understand email me on sam@dak.globalnet.co.uk because i have a wrist ache at the moment.
