Question

Asked by Chris on 2000-08-13
Hi, I'm just a starter but I would like to know how I can play a muted afterbeat just like you can hear in reaggae-music. Do I have to mute the snares with the same hand as I'm holding my plectrum with? Please tell me how to create that sound. P.S., don't mind the spelling

You have to mute the snares with the hand which is holding the pick

put the side of your palm of your right hand just in front of the bridge, hold your plec. tight and never do an up strum, the plec. goes flying
