Question

What does Palm Mute mean?
Answers
Answer posted by K. Hammett on 1999-12-27
It means you put the pinky side of your right hand lightly across the strings directly next to the bridge. If done correctly, you will get a short, dull, thumping sound. It is often used in heavy meatal and rock guitar methods.

It means you grab your mute with your palm and start thumping it until it spits up.
