I know a little bit bout name of the note on the fretboard, but the problem is I'd like to know how to play the note that keeps flowing and connecting from the the 1st fret of 6th string till the 12th or 17th fret of the 1st string... I appreciates your answer.. thx...

Sounds like you are looking for the notes of a scale. If you know what key you are in, you can look at the site below and see the appropriate notes & intervals. This show you both on other strings and up the same string. http://www.looknohands.com/chordhouse/guitar/index_rb.html
