How do I do dropped D tuning?

Easy Sammy, just drop d ol guitar off of a bridge and follow after it. That should do it. :-)

tune the low E at the 7 fret (1 whole step) to the open A and when they sound the same u have drop-D hooray since i help u out i was wondering how do u string a string under a string tree

Hey stringtree or anyone! please explain in more detail. Do you just tune ya guitar in the regular fasion, then simply tune down ONLY the E til it sounds like a D? Or do you tune your E string up and your D string down so they meet in the middle? And what about the rest of the strings, are they just standard tuning? Please help i have only had my guitar for a month. JC theVNBandit
