When using the tuning by ear method, you say that the open strings are E,B,G,D,A,E...When I use the same method, my open strings become; E,A,D,G,B,E... Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? Thanks !

ohh,i think you have mistaken the 1st string as the 6th string .the high e is the 1st string.hope this helps.

Mate you got your strings right, the persone did a type. Standard tuning is EADGBe
