Are you having trouble navigating Guitarseek? This document will give you a brief
overview of the layout of various sections. If you have additional questions, send
them to webmaster@guitarseek.com.
Link Database
The Guitarseek database indexes links to guitar and music related sites on the Internet.
You can browse these listings or search them by keyword. To browse the listing, click
on the Categories link under the
'Database' heading in the left menu.
To perform a search, type some keywords in the form field at the top of this page and
press the 'Go!' button.
Tablature Search Engine
GuitarSeek searches the OLGA for tablature files. Click on the
Tab Seek link in the left menu for an advanced search form. To perform a quick search, enter
criteria in the search form at the top of this page and select 'Search Tab' in the drop down combo box.
Chord Generator
To make use of GuitarSeek's Javascript chord generator, click on the
Chord Seek link in the left menu. After the page displays, select options from the forms below
the fretboard image to have the fingerings appear.
Scale Generator
To make use of GuitarSeek's scale generator, click on the
Scale Seek link in the left menu. After the page displays, select options from the 'Scale Type' and 'Key'
list boxes, then press the submit button. A full fretboard diagram of the scale will be generated.
MP3 Search
To perform an verified MP3 search, type some keywords in the form field at the top
of this page, select the 'Seach MP3' entry in the drop down combo box and then press
the 'Go!' button.
Gear Review Database
GuitarSeek's gear review system
allows visitors to browse
and share their opinions about guitar related equipment. Select the Gear Review
link from the left menu and follow the instructions on the subsequent page to browse and submit gear reviews for a variety
of categories.
Guitar Classifieds
Looking for musicians? Want to buy or sell gear? Our classifieds database
allows visitors to post and peruse a variety of ads for musicians, gear and more.
Lessons Database
Guitarseek maintains a set of original guitar lessons layed out in a number of categories.
To browse the lessons, click on the By Category link under the 'Lessons'
heading in the left menu. To search the lessons, type some keywords in form field
at the top of this page, select the 'Search Lessons' entry in the drop down combo box,
and then press the 'Go!' button.
